Violet Field Flower
This is based on a flower found at the edge of a field. I have made it into a shallow bowl showing its veins and upturned petals. The pale yellow centre glows through the colour of the petals.
It can be used as a functional bowl for fruit or as a serving dish. It is 290mm diameter and 60mm deep. The glass is 6mm thick making it very robust. The bowl is resistant to hot food, but should not be used for food that has been fried.
This is a this is a shalow bowl made from clear glass with powder added in multiple layers and firings, and at the end slumped into a mould.
This signed, bright addition to the dining table is £50.00 plus P&P
